We love lavender!

Lavender essential oil can be used for relaxation as it has a calming nature and directs energy to the head. In Chinese medicine, it enters the Lung and Liver channels, so can also ease tension and releases stress on the body (what we call wind or affecting the nervous system), allowing us to move with change more easily. It also enters the Pericardium system (the Heart Protector) which can help us to release old stories and create new understanding of ourselves and our world. There are different ways of applying essential oils depending on its therapeutic purpose. For healing that requires more attention, always best to consult with a professional.

Below is a gentle recipe that is worth trying after, for example, an acupuncture treatment! Plus, buy local and support our Ontario lavender farmers (See Ontario Lavender Association).
