Zhu's Scalp Acupuncture Certification

At Jane Cheung, R.TCMP and Associates, our practitioners enjoy furthering their education and adding new tools to the toolbox in the hopes of providing the best possible care for their patients. 
This particular course was taught by the acclaimed Prof. Ming Qing Zhu, a gifted clinician known for effective use of #acupuncture and #daoyin(focussed mental/physical exercise). He is 80 years old and he provided many of his wisdoms including “medicine knows no boundaries between East and West and does not discriminate”. He also encouraged us (the next generation) to “advocate our medicine with confidence, and use the skills and knowledge we have learned to serve with compassion and benevolence”.

One special area Prof. Zhu covered is Introduction to Acupuncture #Anesthesia. Prof. Zhu had unique background of training and worked as both surgeon & acupuncturist. He is one of the pioneers in China in 70s that apply acupuncture anesthesia during the surgery including open heart surgery.
